Happy birthday, Chris. I love you.
I don't know how to thank you for everything you've been to me. Everytime I read or watch something about your life, people think of me as a person who would someday leave everything and run into the wild. Well, I don't expect them to understand your life or mine because I know no one does. I know it must have been so hard for you to stay in a society which never really understands anyone or tries to do the same. I know it was not your choice in first place to leave. A lot of things pushed you into taking that one step which changed your life in many ways. And, no matter how many times I would cry over your tragic death, I would still proudly say that "He truely lived only after he left". I know you're still here, beating inside so many hearts which learn from you how important it is to live once before you die
Sometimes I also feel that the people who follow your steps, only follow your steps and not your mind. What you did was something brave because it gave you the air of happiness that would've probably healed your suffering mind. After all, In the end it's about dying at peace, right? I somewhere know that even when your body was suffering, your mind died in peace.
Also, before leaving you left us with a question when you wrote "happiness is real when shared" but somewhere i know for you the idea of sharing was also different. You shared it it nature and the humans that came along with it. I also noticed that you didn't mention sadness, because maybe it was not something you could share with someone or even find someone to share it with and that's all what made the difference and yet people failed to notice. Anyway, thank you again.
Chris, you may have died young but yet you lived the most than any of us.
