Using inspiration from all the amazing eclipse pictures I've seen, this is how my morning has begun.... my chocolate avocado smoothie bowl for breakfast. Zero refined sugar, healthy fats, omega-3, fibre and a good helping of flavonoids and boy does it taste good or what?!!! It's like having pudding for breakfast 🍨. Except this is actually good for you 😇. Topped with fresh raspberries (fabulous using our seasonal British produce), some coconut flakes and some crunch from cacao nibs, it was a perfect start to my Tuesday. If you think this is too much effort to make in the morning, then think again! This is almost no effort, ready in less than 2 minutes. Have a go, you won't regret it!
1 small avocado
1 teaspoon raw cacao powder
50-100mls milk of choice
1 tablespoon flaxseed
Toppings of choice
Put all the ingredients (minus the toppings) into a blender and blitz till smooth. Add however much milk you want to get the smoothie to the consistency you like. Top with fruits, nuts, spices, whatever you fancy. Enjoy!
