Ladies: “How can we support our men?
Give him confidence.
I don't know about you friends, but I can define nit pick and nag.
(I'm cringing at that)
But it's true.
It usually looks like this:
"Thanks for making the bed, but could you put the clothes away next time?"
"It was great that you approached them, but it could have been done a week ago."
"Remember to put the dishes in the dishwasher...on the right shelf...not the counter...or the sink...kay?"
(Ugh, cringing again)
Ultimately these types of messages are telling our men they're not enough.
And, again, I don't know about you, friends, but that IS NOT the message I want to be sending.
I want to be the consistent message that he is enough, worthy, and awesome--and that I've always got his back.
(Those are the messages we all deserve, really)
Our men have all they need to succeed, they'll gain the tools, knowledge and experience but it won't come to them unless they have confidence.
So one answer to the question we posed, "How can we support our men?"
Give him confidence. Believe in him. Give him those messages of "You& #39;re enough" , "You& #39;re important" , You've got this" .
Cause it's true.
(And BONUS TIP for the men wanting to support their women--this concept works in reverse, too)”
