Though most people would think that my job as a fitness and weight loss specialist has me quite physically active, I have days when most of my hours are spent sitting at the computer for consecutive hours, too often forgetting to stand up and walk to take a break from sitting.
There have been days when I would get more body soreness (such as neck and back pain) from sitting for too long, than what you would otherwise naturally expect from exercising. So if you are sitting for many consecutive hours like me, be aware of how it can have such a negative impact on your body and make sure you remember to get up from the chair and stretch every 2 hours! Per my chiropractor's recommendation... Wanna be even healthier? Make it a healthy catch-22? Drink your daily water requirement while at your desk, get up for a restroom break, while filling up your water bottle on your way back to your desk. And repeat!
