Slow living to the max! How often do we get to chill out and wonder through the days as they come?!? With no expectations, no where to be, no long to-do list, just BE. To live slow. To just ‘cruise’ as my dad would say.
It’s detrimental to our beings to take time out - to be in a state of Kapha.
Kapha being easygoing, fun loving and patient. To be grounded. To speak and move slowly and calmly. Humans can’t survive living in the doing around the clock, eventually it will end in burnout. That goes for everyone; the workers, parents, travellers and even the gamers😉
I know it can feel near impossible to break free from parenting or work commitments but it is important to set yourself a regular standard of slowing down. Reconnecting with your playful self, your sexual self, your highest self✨
Here we are, #hanlinsonholidays taking it easy, climbing trees, reading books, skate boarding and drinking coffee and cream☕️
The thing I love most about ditching life’s mundane expectations is the perspective. We go home with new ideas, different views, a little more wiser and a little more grey (thanks to the kids).
