Best workout of my entire life right here! PRd on front squats with 185lbs for 2 reps, deadlifted 225lbs more than once finally, It was just a strong and wonderful day πŸ˜­πŸŽ‰ I have some EXCITING NEWS!!! This past year I went through a lot of ups and downs with my training and dealt with a small injury and had a few little bumps in the road, but I'm feeling stronger than ever now and ready to work towards my goals at full force! I have set up a full 12 WEEK training program that I will be doing and I am soon making it available for you guys to do it alongside with me!! It will be ran as a challenge and there will be a $1,000 cash prize for whoever makes the overall best mental and physical transformation. (Possibly more prizes also) Stay on the lookout for updates as I will also be doing a GIVEAWAY for this program soon πŸ’• I am so excited and can't wait to work with so many of you sweet girls that have been so patient waiting for me to come out with programs. I have worked so hard with lots of ups and downs but I'm ready!! I have designed this with everything that has worked for me in that past and everything that is working for me currently! You will be lifting REAL weight doing compound exercises but you will also be doing accessory movements.. the program focuses on both gaining strength and muscle with different set and rep schemes and different styles of training. I will include sections on mindset and nutrition that will help guide you also! There will also be a closed Facebook group for all of us to interact with each other and help each other along the way. ABS! How to get them? How to keep them? -------------------------------
1) loose body fat through nutrition. You've heard this before but you will not be able to notice your abs until your body fat around your stomach is low enough. This is different for everyone. Work with a good coach that creates a nutrition plan specifically for you.
2) Avoid foods that cause inflammation, excessive fluid retention or bloating! Remember that not all good products are natural for humans to be eating (even though they're marketed that way). Eat a whole foods diet and even then, if something causes discomfort, minimise eating it.
3) get enough fibre through veggies and fruit.
4) train! Yes, train abs too! I train abs 2-3 times per week and have done so for 3 years now.
5) relax! Higher cortisol levels will make you hold fat around your vital organs (torso) and hold on to fluid. Do things you enjoy, stress less, sleep more and lower your cortisol. If you have have trouble winding down, I highly highly recommend trying @atpscience CortRX (no this is not a paid post- it just really genuinely helps!) Sorry I haven't posted much this week, I suffer depression and occasionally it rears it's ugly head. I've learnt how to pick myself up and carry on, but sometimes it's hard to post on social media or connect with anyone.. it's a very lonely headspace. I am feeling brighter today and I know I'll feel even better after my workoutπŸ’ͺ🏼

For anyone who battles depression or extreme anxiety, I know how tough things can get - if you can still exercise and nourish your body with healthy foods- that will help you fight it and get you back on track faster😊. It took me many years to master that- I used to hide away from the world and would often emotionally eat- but since I started competing back in 2010, I learned that no matter what we are going through- remaining on track with our training & nutrition will help us get through those tough times & ensure we don't add to the mental stress by going backwards physically.
If my words can help just one other person, then I have successed😊.
