😱🤤😱🤤Chef Maxmilian Lucas of @vanquishedwitchsugarblog sure knows how to bring the boys and girls in the yard with his tasty milkshakes. It was recently named one of the best milkshakes in town by @redeyechicago. He offers 4 varieties but the Oreo and Dreamsicle stood out to me. These milkshakes starts with a vanilla ice cream as the base but with the addition of a special custard to differentiate each of the flavors. They are creamy and oh so dreamy. Mmm...

Katie stared fixedly at the bowl in front of her. It brought tears to her eyes; the painful perfection of it all. Exquisite, marble-like form. It reminded her of the granite counters, shiny and new, at the beach house. She had banged her chin hard on one of the corners when she was eight, her slippery little body sliding right off the polished wooden bar stool. It reminded her of an egg shell she had never seen before—the perfect specimen of some exotic creature. Or, perhaps, a turtle. Katie peered closer and saw her own reflection in the form of shadows playing with darkness and light. She couldn't eat it. She couldn't bear to look at it but also couldn't tear her gaze away. Mesmerized. Trapped in black sesame magic. She waited patiently, watching it slowly melt from fixed structure to a sinful pool, finally acceptable to touch and taste.

Holy juice, Batman!! Candied tangerine and malted papaya juice!! With fresh apricots and sweet pine tar!! 😀 This may not be the prettiest beer, but we should all know about judging books by their covers at this point. This thing is murky as hell and has this odd tangy-sweet aroma, but it literally smells like candied tangerines and papaya with fresh-sliced apricots drizzled with honey. Sweet and creamy and again dominated by honey and candied fruit, this #TripleDouble goes all the way thru the lane and to the hoop with no opposition. Two points!! With that almost signature-by-now citrus and bitter greens finish from "the man" @HubbardsCave, this one's ready to put smiles on faces. #HoppyHumpday, errbody!! Prost!!

After a full day of work, 17 miles of bike riding, a nice dog walk and a 4-hour cooking session, it's time to sit down and enjoy some #DankJuice. Mosaic is my forever favorite hop and I'm a huge sucker for its beautifully fruity and sweet floral aromas of tangerine, papaya, blueberry, rose blossoms and bubblegum with that light touch of grassiness. Clean, earthy, floral notes of fresh cut flowers and juicy berries roll right into soft papaya, a hint of mango and grassy, bittersweet greens on the palate. Finishing dry and sweet with a wonderfully balanced piney citrus, this beer is off the freakin hook! Prost!! @OddSideAles
