This photo released on May 30th 2017 shows recently-rescued Chibok school girls awaiting rehabilitation at the The National Centre for Women Development, Abuja, Nigeria.
At a ceremony welcoming 82 girls to the rehabilitation facility Aisha Alhassan, Nigerian Minister of Women Affairs, said all the girls will complete their schooling in September, but didn't specify where. The release of the schoolgirls, while obviously positive, does not herald an end to the activities of Boko Haram. The extremist group still holds over 100 of the Chibok girls it kidnapped from their boarding school in a town in Borno state, north-eastern Nigeria.
