Well that was a better session than last night! It took some painkillers and willpower to get to the gym but so worth it for the post workout endorphins. I think the leg is going to keep me off of cardio for a couple of days, but it’s already starting to ease up after 24 hours so no major damage. Because I wasn’t entirely feeling it tonight I tried a new chest and tris routine, dropping to 5 exercises with 6 sets each (previously 7x4). More volume, more pump, less time spent messing around with set up in an untidy gym. Might do the same with back and bis tomorrow.

Today me my girl @asiancutie_tb and my bro @albincalisth leveld up no doubt! Had the toughest and most intense chest routine i've ever done!
Warmup;
10 Dips 10 Sec str8 arm hold and 10 Pressups with 10 Sec str8 arm hold
Worked our way down to 1
The workout;
2 Diamond 2 Regular 2 Wide Pressups
4/4/4 - 6/6/6 - 8/8/8 - 10/10/10 back down to 2
We used resistanceband to do it more interesting 😎😂
Then 10 Tricep extension superset with 10 ring pressups to kill off triceps
And finished with 50 Dips
Energy level was -10 after this haha 😂
A strong and intense 370 chest / triceps reps!
Deffo try this out 😄✔✔

How’s how I’ve been starting off my push days lately. I learned this one from @jayneezy2100 a couple years ago at a seminar.

Take your one rep max and add 5% every week…
⬇️
Week 1 - 55% for 10 x 10
Week 2 - 60% for 9 x 9
Week 3 - 65 for 8 x 8
Etc…until
Week 10 - 💯 % for 1 x 1

I’ve been doing two push days a week. My first one, I use do a flat barbell bench press and the second day, I use the incline barbell bench.

It’s been a great way to keep my bench strength, hit a ton of recoverable volume, and keep my powerlifting groove while I’m focusing my efforts on bodybuilding.
