I continue to be floored by the sweet words coming in from our students, in response to the Online Medicine Making Course. The sale for the course has been extended until tomorrow night at midnight EST! We have an awesome payment plan and you can move at your own pace through the material.
Here are a few testimonials:
"I've taken many different online herbal courses and this is by far my favorite! It is stunning, gorgeous, fun and very informative. I was worried it was a little too basic for where I am at in my studies, but it turns out I'm filling in a lot of critical holes in my knowledge base. I'm in love with this course and I'm having a fabulous time studying with it." ~ Lola

"I find the course informative and witty, which makes it fun to read through and I absolutely love the photography. Can't tell you how much I love this program. It's easy to access, responsive and skills building. Thank you so much!" ~ Mary

P.S. We offer a moneyback guarantee for two weeks after enrolling, so you can try it out yourself risk-free!

Lemon bitters infusing. Simple to prepare: the peel of two lemons in a pint jar, top with Vodka or grain alcohol and let infuse for five days. Strain and bottle. You can take a few drops on your tongue before eating to improve digestion – bitters increase saliva, gallbladder activity, and gastric and pancreatic juices -- they basically stoke the digestive fire. Or try adding a squirt to your favorite cocktail or bubbly water for a bright lemony flavor boost. #Chestnutmedicinemakingcourse

This blend is one of my favorite herbal iced teas ~ so nourishing and tart, and helps to keep me hydrated and grounded in the midst of summers flurry of activities. Hibiscus, tulsi, schisandra, rose hips, lemon balm, lemon verbena and calendula. #Chestnutmedicinemakingcourse

Elder flower harvest for tinctures and tea. This is a great friend in the cold and flu season, clearing congestion and reducing fevers. It is wonderful for children and adults. With common names of Heal All and Self Heal, Prunella vulgaris is certainly a plant to know. It loves to grow right under our feet in our grassy lawns. Truly a people's plant!! Talking about study and learning.
Friday was the first time since childhood I touched a Hawthorn tree. :) When we were young we knew her for the deep scratches she could give and sweet scent and when we played hide and seek you had to curl up to her, make yourself smaller and huddle close to her carefully as to not to walk away with sharp painful red or bloody marks. When I went looking for fresh Hawthorn medicine this Friday I expected blossom sweet and lots, lots of thorns and the soft blossoms were there on all trees and bushes but I really had to look hard for those sharp bits, her defence.. or is it called protection.. anyway.. Being so close to her I thought, 'How amazingly gorgeous can you get with being fragile in your soft petal flowers, old with the lines in your bark and deeply defending at the same time?' And also, with how many plants, trees..green beings can you fall in love? 😄🌿💚 I got a bit lost in the feeling and only cut a little bag from different plants and should return as I use her ofte dried in tea. Wonder now how that 'll go 😂

Started some #burdockroot pickles! Very interested to see how they will taste. #chestnutschoolofherbalmedicine #chestnutmedicinemakingcourse

I made Classic Adaptogenic Goo Balls from the #ChestnutMedicineMakingCourse. They're full of raisins, sunflower seeds, toasted coconut and herbal goodness and yeah, they kind of look like meatballs. 😂

It is an unexpected bonus that the herbal medicine study gives these new gateways in my brain, I am more and more learning to see and to listen and notice different things.. things that are not taught in my culture normally.
I dreamt about these gateways, longed for this seeing for as long as I can remember and used to believe it was only for those lucky few, for those being born in woods or with amazing witches in their family, for those chosen at a young age. ☺️
And now, I am not so sure it is me, my doing, it is more that the plants now find a way in, which seems to be their normal way. 😄.
Today, after two days of sunshine, our little backyard might be a bit of a mess but is brimming with life and food I've not tasted before, nor noticed as allies.
I did not know cleavers apart from their willingness to stick.:) Never made lungwort tea, tasted the peppery taste of Violets. I m learning though.
Gateways in the making and wide open.✨💚
No filter needed for this shot.. (is there ever?;)

Ok.. it's a good thing that when you have all herbs, books, tinctures, stones, preparations, everything where you think they fit best in their new space for just a couple of weeks and then your love asks if you' mind to clear the space as he is ready to place the doors.. ' lots of dust hon' . To be fair he had warned me. (..)
But. A good thing. Really. 😉 I can check it all again, bottle some tinctures, clean things, smell potencies, fill jars and make yet another to-do list and just wonder, It is just about over a year I started studying herbal medicine and still not sure where exactly I m heading with this personally I just love it so, but in this short time already shelves are heavy with herbs and medicine. So weird for someone who wants to own less

Toasted Honeyed fennelseeds, that smell...and both tummy and tastebuds will be grateful.
Study is slow during the move but always there, in the back of my mind or in my heart and some days or evenings the books actually make it onto the table :) But herbs are on the counter everyday, used everyday. 💚

And amidst of it all we are changing our lives around, decreasing our living space and carbon footprint, setting up a small family community.
Today all the books, herbs and medicine found their place in my new study.. aka the hallway 😄💚 And I love it, this study of Mother Nature safe haven.
We are taking such massive steps towards making things happen. Visions. Dreams. Ideals. 💪💚✅
