I'm Anjali and I was the president of Strathclyde Interconnect last year and found this to be a great way to meet other female STEM students.
I’m in my final year of my Meng in Chemical Engineering. I’ve really enjoyed the course so far and have learned a lot of skills I can use after graduation. My design project last year involved producing an ibuprofen production plant in Iceland and this gave me a lot of useful insight into not only the chemical process required but also the legislation implications and economics involved. This was a great opportunity to apply all the theory I had learned from my degree.
I also volunteer for the Engineering Developing Trust and work as a STEM ambassador and find these to be equally rewarding activities.
