Being involved in competitive cheerleading for the last 7 years I have seen many injuries happen on the competition floor. Having 3 daughters who are fliers there is always a possibility for an injury. But even knowing all that nothing could have prepared me for witnessing my own daughter take a pretty bad fall this passed weekend and then having to be transported by stretcher and ambulance to the Cincinnati children's hospital.
Thank God all her xrays came back ok and she did not sustain any broken/fractured bones. She is still having neck and shoulder pain so she must wear the neck brace until we get the results of her MRI and will have to have some testing done to rule out a concussion.
I want to thank everyone who has prayed and reached out to myself, Alyssa and our Gym checking on us. Pictured is Alyssa on the competition floor and a circle of cheerleaders praying for her on the spot. The amount of people who were concerned for my baby has been overwhelming and very much appreciated. Please continue to pray that we get good news from her MRI and that she has a quick recovery.
To my circle of mama's and coaches/gym owner who has reached out to me daily thank you from the bottom of my heart for loving me and my girl as much as y'all do. Its because of your support I have been able to make it passed the last few days.
