#ChasinTheSun So, this happened this evening... Going for my sunset ride tonight, across the river in Jeffersonville, I had my leather jacket opened at the top, to get some air, and as I'd just taken off from a stop sign I saw something really big flying my way; it hit me in the neck, went down into my jacket and then stung or bit me right in the heart area! Haha... It felt like I was punched with a steel pipe, then stabbed right above my sternum! I'm not gonna lie, I stopped my bike immediately, took off my jacket and watched this thing the size of the tip of my thumb, fly out of it. It looked like a Yellow Jacket or a really big hornet; it was flying fast and I was in pain, so I didn't really pay that close of attention to it.
Now as far as I know, I'm not allergic to any stings or bites... nhowever after ignoring this or least trying to, for the 1st 5 or 6 minutes, I noticed that the red mark was growing a little bit and wasn't going away, and I was starting to feel it in my stomach muscles, and some b uh ran I'll ng kn mu chest, so I cut my sunset ride short (temporarily), headed over to a gas station, and 0picked up some Benadryl just in case!
Now, I'm enjoying the sunset, tak ok ng sone fun pics, and being immersed in the flawless weather on this perfect late-Spring evening on the river.. while still massively in pain, though ignoring it! ....oh, and a part of me is waiting to see if my heart explodes, stops, or if I turn into some kind of a yellow jacket, hornet, or bee-themed superhero! Lol
