My morning ritual when I travel consists of blending the following Changing Habits products; camu camu, inflammation ease, super greens, probiotics and turmeric. Every morning I put a tablespoon of this mix in beetroot juice or a fresh squeezed juice of your choice, mix and drink. CHALLENGE 🍑
We all have bad habits. Mine has become uncontrollably devouring multiple date bars everyday. 🤷🏼‍♀️ It takes 21 days to break a habit and create a new one.
So today is day 1 of 21days without datebars and instead making sure I get in a large daily dose of dark leafy greens - spinach, kale, Swiss chard ect. Most probably in smoothies or green juices. 🥒🍵
@nutrition_facts_org explains the multiple and undeniable benefits of incorporating dark leafy greens into your diet everyday. So I definitely recommend going over and checking it out 🌱

#selfiesunday happened but hello, can we take a second to reflect on how easy it is to lose yourself when you don't have a deep love for yourself? I hated myself as much as I could all my life, I'm not very good at hating people but I did a pretty bang up job on myself. This weekend I've gone a bit overboard with junk and felt yuck for it - I've not regretted it but I have laid in bed and decided that's enough, I enjoyed the food but I don't feel good anymore so it's time to put the good foods back in and feel good again. I got up this morning and it was normal life - no biggy. Eat, play with kids, chill out, gym, life. I took a selfie and a tiny part of me thought I had a long way to go still but another part noticed I have my neck back and collarbones are starting to show and a little less double chin (let's be honest, who has a double chin properly in a selfie? 😂) then I realised how back before my journey and even the beginning of this year, if I had of started eating badly or feeling yuck - that was it. 10kg would rack back on and I'd be off track for months. Every day, after lunch, I used to have chocolate for dessert. As a teenager, I would skip lunch to eat a chocolate bar 🙈. That was my "balanced diet" approach 🙄. Years later, overcoming health problems (#celiacdisease, dairy and soy sensitivity), and becoming more #healthconscious, I changed my habits. Now, I don't mind missing dessert, even when everyone else is eating in front of me. I finally went from the "I can't have it, but I want" to the "I can have it, but I don't want"! And what about you? Do you want to change? I know you can! You may face some barriers when you first start to change your way of living. And this is perfectly normal. If you prepare for the obstacles that may get in your way, you are less likely to be discouraged. Just don't try to change everything at once. Remember to ask for support. And when you slip, get back on track. No one can follow a healthy meal and lifestyle plan all of the time. So don't expect to be perfect. But when falling back into old habits, get back on track, and enjoy eating healthy.

This is my mumma Jeannine and stepdad Graeme who took on the 30days to healthy living program and LOOK AT THEIR RESULTS 😲😲 Mum lost 9cm all over and 3kg
Graeme lost 21.5cm all over and 5.5kg

In their 30days they spent about 3 weeks travelling and still managed to stay on track and thats cos its just so easy once you get started.
Mum had a knee operation not long before starting so she was still restricted with what exercise she could do and Grazza had his ankle operated on a lil while ago so their exercise was walking walking everywhere.
These 2 have been through so much with their knees, ankles and even cancer (both) and to see them looking after themselves and putting their health first is THE BEST FEELING EVER!! Love you both and im so proud as a daughter and coach/consultant 😘😘 Now keep going!!

Reflecting on my own journey over the last 5 years one thing that stands out for me is how far I have come in developing my love for me. My wellness journey has been all about self love. In 2012 I was at a loss on how on earth you could muster that feeling on a daily basis. For me, focussing on my health, moving, changing my diet, the power of appreciation, making changes in my life to bring in more authenticity, have all helped to develop that self love muscle to a point where I feel equally happy with me as I do in a relationship.⠀
