Logged a few miles this morning to clear my head from all that lingered from yesterday. Running might not be your cup of tea but something about being outside in the sunshine ☀️ and fresh air really helps me clear my head. And having some good tunes to listen to definitely helps. .
Waking up and working out is a choice. I could have just as easily stated in bed this morning but I choose to get up and honor my commitment to my health and my body. I am grateful to wake up a year older and have the strength to be able to workout and have energy to keep up with my daughter all throughout the day. This is her birthday weekend and I’m beyond blessed and sad at the same time because my little baby is getting bigger! .
As I reflect back I know I’m in better shape now than I was 10 years ago. I eat healthier, I’m more consistent with my workouts and I practice self care regularly. Most of all I am grateful for each and every day. I appreciate how short life is and understand that time is not guaranteed. So, I gonna make the most of it by keeping myself healthy and strong to live the best life I can! 💕 How about you? Do you wake up grateful to get out of bed?
