Baptism on गणगौर घाट : So initially when i was discussing dresses with aavaran, they expressed desire to shoot their sarees too. I was jumping when i heard that. I told ankita we're doing sarees, so she was a lil hesitant having never wore a saree and not liking it 🙈. So i switched the topic to something else like a smart sales person (which i am 😎). Not a word of saree was mentioned during the trip 😁. So when day 1 was over and we were all pumped. The saree seemed a nice thing to do in the morning.
She wore this really beautiful natural dyed saree in haldi and kashish and when i first saw her, i had only one word in my mind- Exotic. We headed to the ghats. I was assisted by @itijhalani. The morning was getting warmer but the breeze was still cool. Even the pigeons were lazy on that sunday. The initial few shots were trial and errors. I showed it to her. We improved. She gave some really emotional forlorn expressions and before we knew it, we had it wrapped and ducked into German bakery to beat the heat. I got my dream fulfilled of clicking sarees in udaipur, a girl was baptized and falling in love with the saree, the pigeons were smirking and everything was right with the world.
