If I didn’t mention it before, I have changed my style of training. I have for the longest time focused my training on getting “big”. What I realized was that I lost lots of mobility, flexibility and overall athletic or “athlete” performance. My joints started to give me problems and I wasn’t sure about my path. One day I had this video pop up on my Facebook and it was these guys doing insane things on pull-up bars and rings. I thought “holy crap! I could never do that”. Then I thought, why the hell not!? So after a good bit of research I decided to start moving over to calisthenic based training. Let me tell you. THIS AINT EASY! It’s a different kind of strength and stamina and I’m addicted. It’s hard, challenging as rewarding. That’s the whole point... challenging yourself and growing. Don’t be afraid of trying something new.
