🇮🇪🇮🇪 HUMAN FLAG 🇮🇪🇮🇪 The Human Flag was one of the first tricks i seen in Calisthenics and thought i would never be able to do something like that .
Here i am, a year in and i love the doing the Flag .

This is a Full Body Exercise but the main Muscles involved are the Delts, Lats & Obliques .
Progressions include Support Press, Chamber Holds, Vertical Flags & Bent Knee Flags .

Some weighted pull ups fun !! 💪🔥

Good way to challenge yourself and see what you got !

I still consider myself a beginner when it comes to pull ups....
Last summer I was NOT able to scurry my fat ass up a pull up bar ! Didn't matter how big of a donut 🍩you put at the top or how much chocolate it had on it 😆
But I've been working hard to make progress with this great compound exercise.
Slow progress is better than no progress‼️AIR?
Thought I would give you guys a look at one of the circuits I find fun and challenging at my stage of fitness

I'll post the numbers I did below ⤵️

•••••Wide Grip Pull Ups••••• 1st Set ••••5 @ 60lbs ••••••5 @ 30lbs•••••5 @ Bodyweight•••••Then 15 eccentrics•••••Rest 60 sec•••••••2nd Set •••••0.5 @ 60lbs•••••2.5 @ 30lbs•••••3 @ Bodyweight•••••Then 6 eccentrics•••••Rest 60 sec•••••3rd Set•••••0.5 @ 60lbs••••1.5 @ 30lbs•••••2.5 @ Bodyweight•••••Then 5 eccentrics•••••Rest 60 sec•••••Final Set••••Rep out as many bodyweight pull-ups as possible (5.5)•••••••••••••••••• ****Eccentric----->Start at the top of the bar (use a chair or step ladder) and SLOWLY lower yourself down to the bottom.
Eccentrics are gonna be the best way to build the muscles you need to do your first concentric pull up! 🙌

I see exercise not just to look good and stay fit but mainly to stay functional which means quality of life. If you can squat without any pain , if you can lift something from the floor without your back screaming and if you can reach something above your head without losing your balance then you are functional.
