We all have different reasons for our transformation and healthy lifestyle journey. A transformation doesn't need to be a side by side picture either. I'm so beyond excited for my challenger! She has worked hard and as of Sunday can put her wedding ring back on. This truly made me so happy seeing her transform. To see that wedding ring and her weight loss of over 30lbs is an amazing accomplishment! That to me is dedication and perseverance! .
This exact reason is why I decided to be a coach. It truly touched my heart to get these messages from my challengers and see that transformation they're doing and inspiring others. .

Yoga in sweatpants?! YOU’RE DAMN RIGHT! 🖤

This is one of the reasons I love home fitness. I was yapping on the phone until 9pm (ahem, @domdompompom & @bobbysanmiguel )and realized that I hadn’t fulfilled my yoga commitment for the day. So I said fuck it and rolled out my mat and did my flow. Right then and there. No shoes. No socks. No spandex. It was glorious.

PSA: you don’t need to spend a paycheck on stupid brand-name clothes in order to be a “real” yogi/lifter/runner/athlete/etc. If cute exercise clothes motivate you to show up, then by all means buy those lulus. But if that’s not your thing, THATS ALSO OKAY. That is all.

I know so many people start the New Year off making resolutions of how this NEW YEAR will be different from the last... Maybe you told yourself that you would develop new healthy habits, drop a few pounds, spend more time doing things you enjoy, build more quality friendships, etc. But as the years pass you find yourself stuck in your old ways!
Well, here is the thing.. Old habits die hard! For me, the only way I seem to make LASTING change is to commit to my goals PUBLICLY & surround myself with LIKE- MINDED people who are on a similar journey for accountability & support~ and I’ve built an entire tribe of women doing the same!
Here’s the crazy part, 3 years ago I bought MYSELF the BEST Christmas present I could have ever gifted myself!!! Little did I know, this gift 🎁 that I ordered Dec 2014 was going to change my ENTIRE LIFE. I got my Beachbody challenge pack just in time to start my “ 2015 New Years resolution”. So January 8,2015 I opened that package up, had many ups and downs since then. BUT powered through it ALL and continue to thank myself for that gift. The gift that helped me lose 145 POUNDS, the gift that helped me find myself, my confidence, my passion, my health, my happiness. The gift that allowed me to take my own personal journey and share it with the world to pay it forward and help others!! ☺️❤️
The gift that not only changed my life, but it SAVED my life!
If you have been wanting to join me in any of my accountability groups, or may just want my assistance on the side and want to treat yourself to the BEST Christmas present you could ever get yourself, I would love to help you out!
I do have to disclose a little secret though 😉.. this is REAL LIFE, which will bring REAL RESULTS. We don’t use any pills, no fancy patches, no miracle wraps, no gimmicks- we kick it out school with a good old fashion sweaty work out and healthy meals! ✌🏼 because in my opinion, losing weight and getting healthy is for our internal organs, to get or heart pumping, blood flowing and our mind cleared, not just to fit in that tight black dress, or certain size of jeans! ☺

Yeah! I’m afraid of heights, but I made it! Caio and I had a great time climbing! My lazy Monday ended up in a super upper body workout!

I feel a flare up coming on. Slowly creeping up. My body feeling more enflamed, my throat sore, fatigue hitting me more. Pain increasing on the right side from my shoulders up, my jaw tingling and tensing up. These are just a few symptoms that will lead to an intensity where I'm afraid to even move. This is my reality. I'm not looking for pity but rather I want you to see what an invisible illness can look like. We are all different and carry our pains in multitude of ways. There's a lot of stigma and I want people to be educated.
Often times I think why me?! What did I do to deserve this everyday hell? But I'm trying to shift my perspective into more positive. Living with mental illness, (which is also common with chronic pain) some days I feel this way, I want to scream and cry and I never think it'll get better.
Today I'm going to take it as it comes. Accept my circumstance and not let it steal any bit of joy I have left. I will practice self care and listen to my body, nurture it because it needs it.
