#ttt#timetrialtuesday from the bike course on Sunday at Challenge Melb. Still flying high after a cracking PB! Brought back the happy face and despite the weather had such a fun day out there! I think my race photos prove that. What a season! Starting off with over an hour PB in Ironman and finishing with a 17 min PB over 70.3 distance. Can hang up my Tri suit for the season now and feel pretty stoked. Now for some off season fun! Congrats to everyone else who raced on Sunday! #recoverytime#challengemelb#hawthorntriclub#htc#triathlon#triathlete#activetrilife
Another happy customer 🤗 Stoked for @ivan.dennis who romped home at #challengemelb today on the back of an 11 minute PB....fuelled on the good stuff!! From all reports, it was a tough day out with cool temperatures and a whole lotta wind 🌬 Even more reason to celebrate that PB!! Well done to everyone who toughed it out in ordinary conditions 👊 . . . #infinitoz#teaminfinit#liquidnutrition#nobarsnogels#nofussnutrition#gocustom#customblend#racefuel#eatingscheating#happycustomer . . #Repost@ivan.dennis with @repostapp ・・・ ON A MISSION: Challenge being the appropriate name. Horrendous conditions (saw a few people blown off their bikes today), started 8 minutes slower out of the water, but didn't let it sway me. Stayed focused on the long game, fueled correctly and finished with an 11 min PB and more importantly got under the 5 hour barrier (4:55). @metsperformance had me peaked to the day and built the engine that let me PB the bike (despite conditions) and run a 1:33 off the bike hitting all the targets. All this off 4-6 hour straining a week #becausescience and specificity.
Fuelling issues from Ballarat are a thing of the past. Nailed it today with @infinitnutritionoz which enabled me to take advantage of the condition Luke (Mets) got me in. Thanks dudes!
Holy crap! No words! What a day. The weather was insane but I somehow pulled out a 17 minute 70.3 PB. 5:25 - beyond stoked. Swim was a shocker drank so much water and kept stopping to unfog my goggles. Forgot to baby shampoo them before starting. Was annoying being the last wave as had to swim around so many big slow dudes but that was about the worst part of my day! Got on the bike and felt strong - tailwind down was bliss 42kph barely pedalling in parts, the way back was blustery on lap 1 and hard to stay on the bike but then the next two laps didn't seem as bad. 2:59 for the bike - my first sub 3 on the bike - STOKED! Was worried I may have spent all my bickies on the bike but then took off running and felt great. Hr @ 80% and was holding 5:04s! Was a bit worried I wouldn't be able to hold it but kept the happy face and I did! Amazing the difference a positive attitude can make on performance. Brought back the happy today and absolutely stoked to end the season on a massive high and a huge PB in trying conditions! Thank thank thank thank you @coachtedde for the kick up the butt pre race and for your support and expert guidance over the past 18 months. Absolutely could not have picked a better coach. You are ace :) thanks to everyone who came out to cheer us all on and great job to everyone else who tackled Challenge Melb today! Was amazing to see so many friends out on course and be cheered on by them all :) love this community! Now time for beers! Maybe a shower first. #trifamily#hawthorntriclub#htc#challengemelb#triathlon#triathlete#activetrilife#wow#happykid#readyforabeer
