The chest press. For me this is one exercise in particular that has dramatically changed in form and execution since working at Frontier. Like many, back in my old training days, hitting reps, and aiming to lift heavier weights and was a focus. I could lift a decent weight for a chick at 22.5kg being my best! Although I could lift heavy that didn't necessarily mean I ultimately had the best muscle engagement when carrying out this exercise. Like many, I didn't always feel my chest but more so my arms and they would fail first. Therefore, the load was being pushed more through the arms, than the chest. Everytime I train chest now, my chest is on fire. I Lift a little bit lighter but my chest engagement is dramatically better. If I fail, it's my my chest that fails, not my arms. I focus on time under tension as this creates a higher demand to the muscle and I don't always go right to the top of the rep, as this is the point of rest for the muscle group and I get little peck squeezes at the top of each rep. Even if I go faster on reps, I focus on the muscles targeted. Focus on the contractions, feel the engagement and then create the intensity!

Monday is here and it's time to get out of holiday mode and back into goal smashing mode 💪💪if you have had a bit of time off, perhaps a holiday or even a heavy binge weekend, make preparations prior to your day to ensure you have a productive day. I know for me when I got back from holiday my 'to do' list seemed to grow and things felt a bit dysfunctional routine wise. Preparation is key! Last night I planned out my day and refocused my goals using my daily Planner.
Today I looked at some of my photoshoot pictures as a bit of inspiration to go smash my own personal goals and get motivated!

Ça fait du bien d'ailleurs ! Je vais reprendre correctement les séances de sport car trop de laisser allé 😬💪🏻
Toujours dans les révisions ici, j'essaie de jongler entre les cours à la prepa a des horaires pas possible (demain je finis à 21h) plus les révisions perso et le sport !! Pas facile tout ça 🙃
