Finally, a long awaited beach day in December! Visited Sand Key Park today 🏖️
And also a mini accomplishment: completed all my required things for my CGFit, an accountability program I signed up for on 11/13. I had to be accountable for tracking my food, keep my calories under 1480 cal most days to lose weight. Even though my technical "check-ins" for CG workouts were only 12 times, I pushed myself every day, resulting in working out 6-7 days a week. I hated it but learned so much about nutrition and my body during this process, so I am thankful.
11/13 was also the day I started working full-time again, but instead of work life consuming me, I put myself first, which meant my fitness, nutrition, family life came above anything at work. After a month, I did meet my goal of losing roughly 5 lbs (I fluctuate a lot) and got some better ab definition, but I gained more than just physical attributes. I know how I eat, how I feel after certain foods, and ehat fuels workouts. This is a new process and way of living for me. I almost feel foolish I was not being this balanced before and focused in the past. #worklifebalance = #workfitnessbalance.
Work will always be there. I am working on myself first. My daily grind struggle is real.
I also ran 2.5 miles after the beach day was over 🏃🙌 #fitnessasmedicine #fitnessmotivation #fitspo #fitnessquote #fitmom #fitlife #keepgrinding #keepgoing #bringit #run #beachday #cg #campgladiator #cgfit #instafitness #instafit #igfitness #igcollage #workout #health #healthymindhealthybody #fitnessmantra
