This is a great way to scale Toes 2 Bar! Much more effective than pumping your knees up and down with knee ups! Hold on to the rig, active shoulders, engaged side lat, keep a tight mid section, push hips up, tap toes on the rig. Today's workout: Strength 3x5 strict press. So this was what I was terrified of during the entire competition Sunday. These 65lb over head squats have been a struggle for me. I got the most I have ever gotten during the competition at this weight. I got a totally of 9 during the workout before time ran out. That's 3 more than I've ever gotten before. I know I'm no games athlete and to most that seems ridiculous to be proud of, but a year ago I could barley overhead squat the training bar.
