POST WORKOUT NUTRITION: How serious are you taking it?

To make things super clear: EFFECTIVE workouts demand COMPLETE nutrition! 💪🏼
Your body is tired. Food is the fuel! Don’t starve yourself, or accidentally skip it! 🥗
So what do you eat?
Well, every body demands something different, but I found a whole meal to work best.
Protein + Veggies + Carb.
Yes your body needs carbs especially AFTER the workout!
Protein shakes aren’t ALWAYS necessary (especially if you have no problem getting enough protein in your daily diet) so cook a full meal if you can!
Better yet, PREPARE THEM ahead of time!🔑 Some quick ideas:
1. Fruit, pb, deli turkey + cheese roll ups 🍇
2. Chicken salad (how easy is it to chuck spinach and prepackaged sliced veggies in a bowl after your workout?) 🍅
3. Egg whites, toast (my #1 choice)🍳
4. Greek yogurt, pb, chex mix 🍯
