We're(@thatbutteryourmacroslife &@butteryourmacros and me🙋🏼) back this week with another #macrotipmonday: a 'This or That': Cereal Edition!! This is such an eye opener!! In this comparison you can easily see the difference in volume--so here's how the macros shake out for a 28 gram serving:

Puffed Rice = 28C 0F 2P
Granola = 15C 4.5F 5P
Captain Crunch (sprinkle donut) = 24C 1F 1P
Basic 4 = 21C 1F 2P
•••My tip is to use 1-2 cups of Kamut puffs or puffed rice to 1/2 serving of your favorite cereal. A ton more volume and you still get a bite of your favorite cereal with every spoonful. I feel much more satisfied and satiated this way!👌🏼

Hershey's Cookies n Creme cereal released in 2013 and was discontinued in late 2015, early 2016? Only bought it twice, first time because it was new and the second time because we found out it was going to hell. The cereal alone isn't that great, but when you enhance the flavor with cookies n Creme toppings, 🙌🏾🔥💣 @GeneralMills y'all should make a Hershey's Chocolate with Almonds cereal. #mnmtwinzSnacks

• GRAINS • For a balanced diet with enough B vitamins and energy, how much grains should you have each day?...about 6 serves ⁉️Sounds like an extreme effort but a serve is only 1 piece of bread, half a cup of cooked rice/pasta/oats or 3/4 cup cereal. So this means if you have grains at each meal eg toast for breakie, a sandwich at lunch and a stir fry with noodles at dinner you would easily meet your target. ✔️✔️✔️
