Autumnal flowers with some healing properties! This arrangement is decorated with fresh fall greens like baby blue and seeded eucalyptus - (found in cough drops). The interesting spiky little flowers are called echinacea - they are said to be antimicrobial & have antioxidant properties! Used in the 1920's and 1930's as a herbal medicine and by the Native American tribes who say humans learned to use echinacea by watching elk seeking out the herb & eating it whenever they were wounded or sick! They named it the "elk root"
