Packed full of color and beef bone broth, fresh jalapeno, cilantro, Thai basil, carrots, ginger, garlic, green onion, shallots and lime. I added some shaved roast beef and sauteed the fresh shredded ginger and shallots with thick pieces of bacon ends. A little lemongrass and fish sauce too just to keep the flavors vibrant. This kaleidoscope soup will be offered as a lunch option at @messingermeats cafe and I will have a printed recipe card available there this Saturday Nov. 18th.
I wanted the broth to be the main focus and it shines like the true superstar it is: spicy yet full of flavor. @messingermeats Piedmontese beef broth, roasts and bacon are all local. All healthy.
