Potted up most of my tomatoes into 4 inch pots last night. Also some peppers and eggplants. Divided some celery seedlings too. Looking back through timehop, I was much farther along last year at this time. I also put a lot of tender plants out too early and they all got killed by a frost, so essentially I'm still ahead of the game compared to last year. I'm still on the fence about direct seeding my squash and cucumbers. I've only tried it in the past in mid summer and never got much production from those. Anyone in New England (or zone 6) do direct seeding?
