#BookReview time: I'm not overly familiar with Amy Poehler's work but was recommended this as a general life memoir. As a comedy sketch writer, it's no surprise that her writing is fabulously witty, toeing the line perfectly between brutal honesty and self-deprecation. I found myself skimming over a few pages which went into depth about comedy troupes that hardcore Poehler fans would probably no about but held no interest for me. I whizzed through the first 2/3 of the book and then it started feeling just too long, and a bit too self-indulgent, so once again found myself skimming over the last few pages. I reckon it's a 3/5.
