This past week I made a big move and started a new chapter in my life. I packed my bags, and moved to Florida! After a wonderful 2.5 years as Fabspeed's Porsche Specialist, I still felt there was a gap I needed to fill. A yearning to learn more about suspension, vehicle setup and the finer details on maximizing the performance and driving potential in a hands-on environment.
That opportunity presented itself in the form of AutoQuest Motorsport, a premier Porsche speciality shop in Ft. Myers that has been in business for over 25 years with an impeccable reputation and massive following in the region. They operate on the leading edge of Porsche performance development and full track builds, have countless hours in R&D at various tracks such as Sebring and Road America, and are quite involved with Motorsports and PCA with the owners being the Chief Instructor/Trainers of the Suncoast region. They happen to be unique in that they are a true "one-stop-shop"...vehicle sales, full service, and niche/exclusive product development. They can accomplish almost anything with decades of experience and in a manner that is always personal and customer-centric, to the point they have had near 100 GT4s/GT3s through their shop in the last year for various upgrades, most shipped to their care from across the country.
In flying down a few weeks ago I was blown away by their potential, especially in regards to the Porsche products they have developed...most of which very few know about outside of their direct client base (some designed in cooperation with Formula One/LeMans engineers). I am beyond thrilled to be a new member of the AutoQuest team, having access to everything I've had in the past (authorized Fabspeed distributor FYI) and a wealth of new resources. I will be working on bringing AutoQuest's brand and product line to a greater national recognition over the next several months, while maintaining the ability of being the dedicated sales/performance specialist for everyone I work with.
If you are in Florida shoot me over a PM! I'd love to meet up with some of the locals, or those that are visiting the area :)
