It’s not uncommon to have a fear of darkness. It takes root in us when we are young and it has a primitive hold over on us. This fear drove us to come together, ignite lights and drive out the dark from before us. We eventually got lost, stifling ourselves with the comfortable, safety and glow of our gently light world. But what is lost? We eventually lose sight of the beauty that lies just beyond our comfort zone. Highlighted by the darkness that we keep at bay. Then in this darkness we see things for its natural beauty. For it is darkest nights that we face, do the brightest stars shine forth.
