"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: if either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up." Ecclesiastes 4: 9-10.

It's important to remember that every great leader had sidekicks, so why should you go it alone??? Remember to pray for people who are going to help you get to the next level. Then, ask for the wisdom to identify them when they show up and to be teachable.📚🍎 Christian leadership ignites and leaves a LEGACY!🔥🔥🔥

St. Rose Philippine Duchesne: Born in 1769, St. Rose was from Grenbole, France. At the age of 18, she entered the convent, a congregation known as the Society of the Sacred Heart. During the French Revolution, her convent was closed, and she was sent to the United States, without knowing how to speak much English. She founded the first American house under the Society of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in a log cabin. St. Rose taught French and American Indian children about the Christian faith, and eventually founded many schools for young women, and for Indians who considered her to be “the woman who is always praying.” Living and teaching in the States for the rest of her life, St. Rose died in 1852, and became a canonized Saint in 1988, canonized by Pope JP II. In fact, today is for feast day. Saint Rose, pray for us. 🙏🏼

St. Pedro of San Jose Betancur: Born on March 21, 1626, St. Pedro was born into a poor family in the Canary Islands. At around age 24, he went to Guatemala, hoping and searching to find a government job there. When he arrived, he became so bankrupt/poor that he went to the Franciscan mission. Although he wanted to become a priest, God had different plans for him. He joined the Franciscan Order as a brother. Then, St. Pedro founded a hospital for those who are disabled and poor, he founded a shelter for homeless individuals, and a school for the poorest children of Guatemala. He collected donations from wealthier people at night, to give to these people in poverty. Some give him credit to starting the Posadas, which are a traditional customs in Central American countries, and in Mexico, in which people celebrate to represent Mary and Joseph when seeking a place to give birth to Jesus. St. Pedro, who died in 1667 was the first Central American to be named a saint and, the first saint to have worked and died in Guatemala.
