Introducing the @newrootsdinner series, a Daniel et Daniel initiative for @greenthumbsto. The New Roots Dinner Series will be taking place on October 2nd, simultaneously seating 100 people across 8 venues in one of Toronto’s oldest neighbourhoods to help raise profits for Green Thumbs Growing Kids. The menu will be created by our award-winning executive chef Karen O’Connor and our executive pastry chef Bonnie Kravitz.
Green Thumbs offers food growing and environmental education programs in 4 inner-city schools and 2 parks- the proceeds will help them directly develop their in-school garden and environmental programs. Students are able to learn and grow their own vegetables, such as the cabbage shown above, grown at the Sprucecourt Public School!
