Today I wanted to share with you one of my favorites: Cashew Milk. The recipe is easy and takes hardly any time at all to make. Best of all, you know exactly what’s going into it 😉 You can even get creative by adding natural ingredients. Also, I think cashew milk is creamier and less nutty than almond milk. 😋My mom, who is a big fan of coffee with milk, said its great for coffee and tea. 😃You can also use it in your smoothies, baking and other recipes.
🔅Soak the cashews overnight or for at least 2 hours. 🔅Drain and rinse them until the water runs clear. 🔅Add them to your blender with 4 cups of water or coconut water and a pinch of sea salt. 🔅Blend until completely mixed, about 2 minutes on high, and filter through a nut milk bag. 🔅I use @elliesbest nut milk bag. It is super easy to use and makes life so much easier! 💕If you like sweet milk, add 3-6 pitted dates or two tablespoons maple or coconut syrup. 🔅You can also add vanilla extract for even more flavor. Experiment and see what taste you like the best!
1 cup raw Cashews
3 cups filtered Water
Pinch of sea salt
For sweetened milk add:
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
2-4 pitted dates, 2 to 3 tablespoons coconut or maple syrup
Add Cacao powder if you want some chocolate milk 😉😋😘
