So to make up for the delay, you end up skipping your regularly planned breakfast and opt for coffee & a quick "snack" from Dunkin' Donuts to gobble down on your drive to work...

To the frantic dieter on a rushed morning commute, an "iced coffee" is just "iced coffee." What's more, a low-fat muffin would obviously be better as a light snack compared to a bacon 🥓, egg 🍳, and cheese 🧀 wrap!

As you can see, though, that ain't the case here 🙅

Most people wouldn't think twice about adding a vanilla swirl flavor shot to their iced coffee—it's not "cream & sugar," right? But it's basically the same, if not worse, and adds a whopping ~200 calories to your morning coffee! ☕️🙀

Then there's the harmless low-fat blueberry muffin. The "low-fat" label wants to tricks you into thinking this thing is a healthy breakfast snack... in reality, it's packed with ~410 calories‼️ (but only 11g of fat! Lol 😜)

HERE'S YOUR FIX ✅: order the iced coffee with skim milk & Splenda. You'll still get a sorta-creamy coffee drink, but for 1/4th the calories.

Despite having bacon and cheese, the Wake Up Wrap is actually a great option for a breakfast snack. Not only is it low in calories (~190), but opposite of the muffin, it has a decent chunk of protein that will help keep you feel for a few hours. 😋👍

At first glance, This sandwich appears to be a perfect weight loss swap for regular old fast food. With whole wheat bread 🍞& turkey breast 🦃 , its almost like a healthy lunch you'd make at home!🏡

Surprisingly, though, this sandwich comes with 700 calories‼️ Primarily from the whole wheat bread (which is still calorie-dense), Swiss cheese, and high-fat sauce.

The salad 🥗 isn't too bad, but I included it to make a point of something that's very important to watch for...

You see, most of the time, balsamic vinaigrette dressing is fairly low in calories. BUT, that's not always going to be the case‼️The dressing brand used at Arby's is actually quite high at 120 calories per packet. 😧👎

HERE'S YOUR FIX ✅: If it were me deciding, I'd go with two of these Jr Ham & Cheddar Melts & a side salad w/ light Italian dressing (only ~20 calories)

If you're feeling real' daring, you could add on a snack-sized order of curly fries 🌀🍟. That'll only add an additional ~250-300 calories to the meal, which is STILL fewer calories to the Market Fresh Sandwich & Salad Combo. —

In Today's Fast Food Fix, we're taking a trip to Buffalo Wild Wings... and I don't know about you, but every time I eat at this place, I always end up follow a similar sequence of events…

Heck, most of the salads have a high-calorie price tag too! This one, in particular, is super sneaky since it has lots of "healthy" ingredients like grilled chicken, hummus, and pita bread...

But there IS one good option, I've found, and it's the NAKED (hehe ☺️) tenders with buffalo chips—which actually have much fewer calories and fat than regular fast food fries. Slap on a side salad 🥗 for them #micronutrients, and you're golden! 👌

Plus, the best part is you don't have to be the hippie ordering a "salad" at a beer & wings joint 🥕🤓✌️

One comes from the popular myth that rice is the bad guy 🍚❌. What I've seen a lot of people do is order their regular burrito, but just get rid of the rice carbs thinking that's the best move for their waistline...

But In reality, one scoop of rice will only add ~200. If you're trying to save calories, you're much better off getting rid of the ~300 calorie tortilla! 😳

Then theirs the guacamole 🥑. Here's the problem with guac - yes it has healthy fats, but it's also crazy CALORICALLY DENSE 📈‼️! #
Eating higher-calorie but healthy food is fine when you're maintaining or building muscle, but when you're trying to lose weight🔥, you have to be carful not to go overboard with them (which is VERY easy to do)...

HERE'S YOUR FIX ✅: the burrito bowl (steak or chicken) is the obvious winner for me. It eliminates the two big calorie culprits (tortilla & guac), is high in protein, and despite being lower in calories still includes plenty of tasty ingredients to satisfy your belly and tastebuds 😋👍
