My Hungarian grandma, my mom, and my time spent in the kitchen thought me a lot. 🔝🔝🔝🔴.
Today I want to share some tips for a winner chicken soup:
*use chicken bones! Put them in a mash bag. Add turkey necks or your favorite chicken parts, but don't skip the bones.
*cook it low and slow to let the flavors blend and get the best outcome.
*chicken soup get a better taste a day after it was cooked.
*chicken soup is great for deep or short freeze.
*feel free to add any vegetables you want, and don't forget the herbs in a mash bad.
*I personally like to cook my chicken soup in a pressure cooker.
I put the chicken, bones, and turkey necks at the bottom, vegetables and herbs on top of it, fill it up with water and bring to boil. Than I let it cook on low for 2hours. *If you don't have a pressure cooker, boil the chicken with water, garlic cloves and onion. Remove the foam, add your favorite vegetables, and let it cook on low for 5-7 hours. *the only spice I use in my chicken soup is kosher salt. That's it. No soup mix, no black pepper, nothing else.
