Whenever You Feel Unmotivated & Stuck On Your Goals just Look How Far You've Come... The biggest advice I can give anyone on a weight loss journey is to take pictures from the beginning. If you haven't already start today. When you are at your biggest I know the last thing you want to do is take pictures of yourself because you feel like you look fat in them. As someone who was guilty herself of taking mostly face shots. I'm so glad I took full body pictures. At the time I hated taking them. However now that time passes I'm so glad I have something to compare myself too. When you see yourself in the mirror everyday you get used to how you look. But when you take a picture of yourself today and compare to the past you'll see how great you really are doing and that should motivate you to keep on pushing towards your goals.

#TransformationTuesday is always a day of celebration for me! First it was to celebrate my weight loss and now I get to celebrate my skin removal surgeries! I still have a ways to go, BUT my life is so much better than ever before! I never really realized how difficult different activities were with the skin, but now that my stomach is flat and my arms are much smaller, I am able to live life without the fear of my skin being exposed. I won't lie, I'm still having a hard time with my scars because mine are wider than I had hoped (because of the way MY body heals..everyone is different). I've always scarred terribly and with such major surgeries, I should have expected it...but I am SO happy with my results and I am so proud of how far I've come!

MEATHEAD CONFESSION: contrary to popular opinion in the strength world, I actually LOVE cardio. I know it's really en vogue to hate on cardio in favor of lifting weights, but I just don't care. I like to sweat. I like to feel my lungs burn. I like to feel fast. I enjoy hiking and running on the beach and doing metabolic workouts in the gym.

We can argue the "best" methods for fitness, fat loss, and strength all we want, but when it comes down to it, what type of movement are you actually going to commit to? THE KIND YOU ENJOY. That's it and that's all - it's not that simple but it also kind of is.

I'm in the movement biz because I truly believe that regular movement is absolutely CRUCIAL to mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health. I'm not in the business of shaming people for what type of fitness methods they choose and I'm wholly uninterested in being a "gym elitist."
