#THATSAWINNER! Cardinals take three of four from Milwaukee with the 6-4 win today. Leake continued his hot start to the season, going six innings, with only two earned runs and six strikeouts. The Brewers scored their first run off of Leake in the first with a Braun RBI double to put them up 1-0. Diaz erased that deficit with an RBI single in the 3rd. The Brewers managed to get another run off of Leake in the bottom half of the 3rd off of a sacrifice fly to put them back on top. The Cardinals scored three runs in the 4th with the help of a Wong double that drove in one and a Leake single that drove in two to make it 4-2 Cardinals. Four innings later, the Cardinals tacked on two additional runs off of a Fryer RBI single and an Adams single that scored one to increase the lead to four. The Brewers were shut down by Bowman (1 IP) and Rosenthal (1 IP), but Broxton was put in the game to close it out in the ninth, but allowed a homer, so Oh was put in, he gave up a run, but it was charged to Broxton, and Seung-hwan managed to pick up his fifth save of the season. Wong went 2-2 with a walk today; finally looks like he could be turning into the player everyone knows he can be. Cardinals open up a series against the Blue Jays Tuesday at 7:15. Lets go Cardinals!
