Lifting more weight is not always the answer to getting stronger. 🔑Technique degradation is more traumatic, requiring more recovery. Athletes usually do not account for this necessary recovery, therefore spillover will occur, where future workouts are more difficult than need be, and the cycle repeats.
🔑The greater the emphasis on technique, the greater the exposure to weaknesses.
🔑Greater ROI from technique work, if it is not practiced often.
🔑Technique emphasis allows for the usage of lesser weights with the same intensity, and can be arguably safer.
