So, I complained to #pridecymru about the noise: “It’s amazing Cardiff is taking part in the Pride movement but please, for the sake of the residents living in communities that are just on the outskirts of town centre...TURN THE VOLUME DOWN...it was beyond loud tonight, my windows were jumping all evening in Splott, we actually thought it was a car in the street at first then realised where it was coming from...on Facebook there are people complaining who live in Tremorfa and Pengam Green...I can’t imagine how infuriating it would’ve been for those even closer to city hall...in all the concerts held in coopers field & principality stadium, this one is definitely more of a noise nuisance...I really hope the organisers take heed of this (& any other complaints) that cross their pages so that residents are respected as well as concert/parade goers
Many thanks in anticipation of a more peaceful few days
Their response: “Hi Sue, All sound last night was within the limits previously agreed with Cardiff City Council. However we will note your complaint for future reference.
I guess there will be be no relief over the next two nights from this noise nuisance...it’s the ONLY concert EVER HELD in Cardiff that sounds like it’s IN my living room, beyond ridiculous! 😣🤯 #onlyanother48hourstogo #pride #pridemovement #cardiffcitycouncil @cardiffcitycouncil #levelsarenotacceptable
