If you're curious why I keep asking for donations to the sanctuary, here's why:
These animals were born into situations they did not ask for. They didn't know why they were being taken from their mothers or why their babies were taken from them. They didn't know why they weren't being fed, why they couldn't move around, why they were being beaten, why they were sick. By nature they wanted to be free in the wild feeling the grass and sun and water and raising their young, but instead they were trapped by steel and had only felt cold concrete under their feet.
But then they are rescued by The Wild Animal Sanctuary. They are given food without being forced to inhumanly earn it. They are not punished if they choose to stay hidden during the day. They are allowed to eat when they're hungry and at times that they choose, not at times when people expect to see it as a show. They are given medical attention that they desperately need, and they begin to feel so much better. When they start to feel healthy they're able to let their personalities shine, instead of using all their energy to just barely survive. For the first time in their lives they have the freedom to play. They get to have a family, companions, and friends.
When you donate, you're helping to buy that food that fills their bellies, the medicine that heals their illnesses and pain, the habitats they get to run wild in, and the resources the staff needs to go out and rescue more animals in need.
You can help be a part of the solution not only by donating but also by educating. Help me try to build a humane future for our Earth's animals. And to those who've donated already, you've made me happier than I could ever express. Thank you ❤️ You can still donate via the link in my bio.
