Few days ago I made a post about connection. I feel like making a Connection Part II post, with a an example happened in my own life.
I met Jo (backbending on the left) in Mysore 4 years ago and we connected nicely, then we never had many opportunities to meet again. She got in touch with me few months ago, saying, among other nice things: "why don't you come to Geneva one of these days?" And it happened that she connected me with a friend of her, Melissa, that was opening a new yoga studio, and Melissa hired me to shoot a promo video and photos. And when we were discussing the idea she connected me with another amazing human being, Giuseppe (doing a split in the photo) a former classical dancer trained at La Scala in Milan and now a yoga teacher.
Well, we ended up making an awesome yoga video that I can't wait to share (it's coming soon!) playing a whole day in an abandoned building with colored powders, color bombs, yoga poses, dance movements and much more.
Last but not least, neither Jo not Giuseppe are on Instagram.
Well, Jo is not even on Facebook or any other social media. She has an old phone and she's out of all the dramas happening on socials, focusing on teaching yoga in the best way to her community in Geneva. Connecting with people in real life only. Isn't it amazing?
Well, at least it's very inspiring for me, that sometimes I feel addicted to social media and, as my wife says, I have always the iPhone in my hand (when I don't have a camera) 🤣. Anyhow, it's not the time to talk about me, but about this great new yoga studio is going to open in Geneva.
Go and check it out, here on IG: @lemelrose.geneva or even better... in real life. 😏
Awesome stuff it's going to happen... Stay connected!
