We enjoyed developing this cocktail for a supper with @stumptowncoffee. Fragrant, spirit-forward, and sinfully rich, we named it "The Backwoods". Candy cap mushroom infused rye, pecan, pomegranate molasses, Amaro Nonino, and saline.
If you know Candy Caps you know that they have a maple syrup nose, so we took @sazeracrye and infused it with these curious beauties. With @maepdx headlining the dinner menu with her famous fried chicken, we wanted to create a maple-esque cocktail to match.
