A little Tuesday motivation 🥊 get those gloves on #CentreRingTO #NoWayneNoGain

I've been coaching Tania for a little over a year and a half and in that short time she's become Ontario Champion and is headed off to Edmonton in March to compete at the Canadian Championships. I'd like to accompany her there and so I've started a fundraiser. The link is in my bio 😊

Those who train together, stay together. Pam and Nigel killed it! 🥊 Members can use our Gift A Friend feature in the Centre Ring app to bring a loved one or friend in for a boxercise class. #GetThoseGlovesOn #CentreRingTO #NoWayneNoGain #ValentinePost

Boxers down south have it way to easy. Our gym literally depends on people grinding away to keep the place heated in the winter. If your the first one in the gym that day its on you to work hard and warm the place up! #canadianboxing #boxers #wethenorth @stockyardsboxing

Tania Walters @inkredibletee was triumphant this weekend at the Brampton Cup, earning yet another gold medal and winning her third tournament in a row. Tania moved up a weight class and had three tough fights but she prevailed in every one. Very proud of her for all the hard work and dedication she puts into training, and for for giving it all in her fights and fighting very intelligently.

Gonna keep training hard getting ready for nationals in March. Anyone who wants to help Tania along on her journey to Nationals, here is a link to her fundraiser;

#Reposting @unitedpromotions with @instarepost_app -- Samuel "Sam" E. Langford, known as the Boston Tar Baby (March 4, 1883 – January 12, 1956) was a Black Canadian boxing standout of the early part of the 20th century. Called the "Greatest Fighter Nobody Knows", by ESPN, many boxing historians consider Langford to be one of the greatest fighters of all time. Originally from Weymouth Falls, a small community in Nova Scotia, Canada. He was known as "The Boston Bonecrusher", "The Boston Terror", and his most infamous nickname, "The Boston Tar Baby". Langford stood 5 ft 7 1⁄2 in (1.71 m) and weighed 185 lb (84 kg) in his prime. He fought from lightweight to heavyweight and defeated many world champions and legends of the time in each weight class. Considered a devastating puncher even at heavyweight, Langford was rated No. 2 by The Ring on their list of "100 greatest punchers of all time". One boxing historian described Langford as "experienced as a heavyweight James Toney with the punching power of Mike Tyson". He was denied a shot at many World Championships, due to the color bar and by the refusal of Jack Johnson, the first African-American World Heavyweight Champion, to fight him. Langford was the World Colored Heavyweight Champion, a title vacated, by Johnson, after he won the World Championship, a record five times. Many boxing aficionados consider Langford to be the greatest boxer not to win a world title. BoxRec ranks him as the 3rd greatest heavyweight boxer of all-time, 9th greatest pound-for-pound boxer of all-time and the greatest Canadian boxer of all-time. #blackhistorymonth #canadianhistory #blackcanadianhistory #heavyweightboxing #canada #boxing #novascotia #bostontarbaby #canadianboxing #heavyweight #p4p #blackhistory

Never, ever , ever give up! Chances are if you FEEL like giving up, you're right on the edge of your breakthrough. Be happy with the little that you have. There are people with nothing that still manage to smile.🙏 Be patient. Things will change for the better. Do it to day or regret it tomorrow. Jamaica in 2 weeks 🛫 for the #wrayandnephew #CANADA vs. #JAMAICA Contender series press conference. 💪
