As of tomorrow I am sorting my shit out and walking more. I have only hit my target of 14,000 steps/day twice in about 9 days now.... calories have been ok but I am not prepping as much as I normally do which makes me want to eat quick and easy crap. It's been a tough week so far (It's only Tuesday haha). Since Thursday every day has felt like an uphill battle. I've not really helped myself either, I've not prepped as much, not been as thorough with calorie counting, and I'm the only one that can do those things. This might be the first week in 10 where I have a gain, but even if that's the case, at least I'm acknowledging it, owning it, and knowing that the only person who can help me is me. Accepting that this path is hard and it probably always will be and that to fuck up now and again is ok, and when you do to not plague yourself with guilt.

I’ve not been to the gym in over a week due to this monster assh*le of a cold I have. I can barely breathe, but the 40 a day cough sounds impressive. I’ve tried to just concentrate on my #neatup247 ... I’m really trying to reduce my sugar and white carbs intake. So breakfast this morning was Bacon, Avocado and Scrambled eggs using a little smidge of my 350ml skimmed milk ration. I’m sorry, but I like a brew, green tea is NOT a brew. One of my mini #fijichallenge goals was to leg press 150kg plus the machine weight (no idea how much that is, got to be 30kg+ I would say) for 14 reps by 4 sets

Fiji Challenge Update

To be honest I wasn't planning on posting pictures during the Fiji Challenge as I really wasn't sure what was going to happen.
.
But then I thought if you are happy to post when it's all going great and weight is falling off then should do the same when its possibly not.
.
The only difference between Fiji and Vegas is that I've upped my calories from 2450 to 3450. My training and neat (walking) remain the exact same as its all part of the experiment.
.
My goal is to gain some size and increase my strength. .
The reason I wasn't sure about posting is probably apparent from the pictures. I just look like I'm doing Vegas in reverse.
.
I know I'm going to gain some fat and you can definitely see that around my lower back and stomach. But I’m happy with the process and will absolutely stick with it during the challenge safe in the knowledge that I can fix it if I fuck up in the next challenge. .
Calorie Fucking Deficit or in this case Surplus is the best solution for weight management.

OK, I'm always getting asked how does one work out there calories for fatloss? So i made an infograph to help you work out your own.
Now as everyone is different we have to go by a formula or online calculator and these are ok for people who tend to have an up and down intake of calories or are completely unaware of there intake.

You have to remember these are just guestimations and you have to have a play around with tracking in order to find were you need to be and are comfortable with.

If you feel like your starving all week and struggling and you lose weight too quickly then adjust them! add more calories in so it more comfortable and sustainable, remember if you lose 8lb in a week don't be fooled to think it's all fat 😣, 5-6lb of that will be water and good bathroom visits, and it's not a sustainable diet like some people will have you believe 😯. Just as if you don't seem to be losing weight deduct another 100 calories per day and keep checking. It will take a good few weeks of trying for you to learn your true maintance levels so don't be impatient.

Again it's a guestimation so work with it till you find what's suitable and adjust according to individual response, get 80% of your intake from whole foods and 20% from other foods to help you adhere to your diet goals.
