Maya nut ☕️🍂Caffeine-free Coffee ☕️🍂= Roasted Maya nut powder + Hot water ☕️🍂
Breadnut or Maya nut (Brosimum Alicastrum) is actually not a nut at all it is actually a seed. When roasted, it tastes and smells like coffee! It’s a great substitution when you are trying to remove caffeine from your diet, or if you are like me, trying to give your adrenals a break. Today I am drinking it black, but it is also delicious with cream, with a milk alternative (it is best with homemade almond milk), or in ice blended drinks that call for coffee as an ingredient. You will be getting the coffee flavor along with many nutrients; it is high in folic acid, zinc, B vitamins, and has a calcium-magnesium ratio that is optimal for the body’s absorption.
Being out in nature, taking in the clean crisp air, and allowing your body to be in movement; your body will naturally crave healthier sources of energy. I look at vacations, whether short or long, as a way for my body to recover from the routine and stress of everyday life. I allow and aid my body in removing what it desires whether it be a physical, chemical, or an emotional process.
