My last field studies this semester with my amazing classmates. We are the first university to establish a weather station at Wind Wolves Preserve in Bakersfield. At campus, we can monitor the data that is being collected at Wind Wolves to keep updated of the weather conditions in that area. 🌨🌪🔥
Thankful for being apart of CSUN's first Geomatics & Aerial Environmental Research Group. Today we presented our groundbreaking experiments with thermal drones and how they can provide us information using temperature, infrared, and vegetation index maps. As geographers we can model spatial analysis to capture the intensity of our environment. Thanks to Dr. Orme for creating a new advancement in our field.
