Seating 63,000 fans, the California Memorial Football Stadium is the home field for the University of California Golden Bears college football team. The venue, which is known for its scenic views of the San Francisco Bay from its top row, opened 95 years ago and was named on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006. Unusually, the stadium is located on a fault line that passes directly under the playing field, known as the Hayward Fault.
