Cables are a great tool to help provide tension through the whole range of motion, as opposed to some free weights where you tend to lose the muscular tension at the bottom of the rep. While I'm not discrediting DB/BB in the slightest, I tend to believe that Cables are slightly more effective when it comes to shoulder development. ➖➖➖
Maintaining muscular tension will increase time under tension thus increase the degree of work completed. The greater amount of time under tension the more you tear down the muscle fibers which helps increase the hypertrophic value! ➖➖➖
Be sure to control the weight, keep the tempo slow, and make it hurt. Ensure you're starting the motion with your deltoids opposed to your arms! Happy lifting 💪🏻

Had a dope #UppedFit session with my brother @avelwalker ⬅️go follow, he continues to get better and better everyday. He's been training with me for a year now and has seen incredible improvements in all areas of fitness!! We focused on upper chest, front delt, and agility drills. 🆙️Front Delt Pulldowns: (pronation) wide grip 4x20, close grip 4x20. Super set w/ (supination) wide grip 4x20, close grip 4x20. Super set w/ resistance band flys 4x50. 🔸️With the pulldowns each set we dropped the weight but same amount of reps to cause muscle confusion.
🔥The close grip we did short flexion to cause muscle tension (short burst)
🆙️Incline Dumbell Press: 4 rounds drop set; 20, 16, 12, & 8, increase weight each set.
Super set with shoulder jacks 4x12.
🆙️Agility Drills: Half Burpees w/ broad jumps 8 rounds.
Reverse Lunges w/ back pedal spin 8 rounds.
