#cablekickbacks Probably in the top 5 ig booty building exercises ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘ lol but seriously, it's such a great workout when you want to isolate each cheek. And since it's on cables, I can easily hit any angle of my glutes. I like to do a moderate weight so that it's challenging but so I'm also able to control my movements; I usually do 4x12 for each leg! Keep a small bend in the knee and squeeze that cheek, girl! Careful on the lower back though, I try to find a happy medium between slightly arching at the top but also keeping my spine aligned.

A lot of people complain about back pain with this one because usually they are standing straight up and as they kick their leg back, they hyper extend their lower back.
By getting basically into a 90% angle, you can protect your back and feel it more in the ๐Ÿ‘. The mind muscle connection is big on this one... you don't need a lot of weight to feel the ๐Ÿ”ฅ. Tips: Focus on engaging your core the entire time and flex your foot to put tension in the right spots! Squeeeeeeze
at the top! You will also feel this in the standing glute because it's the stabilizer.

Cable kickbacks to work on that ๐Ÿ‘ I was honestly just being lazy and didnโ€™t feel like searching for the ankle wrap attachment so ended up using a handle and I have to say, itโ€™s 10x comfier and easier than the latter! Try it out next time!

๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ–คBOOTY DAY๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ–ค So if you hadnโ€™t guessed by the title today I focussed on my glutes ๐Ÿ‘ this is an area I am personally trying to build more as since I lost weight at the beginning of the year I feel I have lost shape in that area. With this in mind Iโ€™m trying to train them three times a week, however after today I feel like my body is now used to my routines (normal) so itโ€™s time to switch things up starting Monday (how exciting ๐Ÿ˜‚) as I touch up on that subject remember to always listen to your body, if you feel like your too used to a weight-increase it, if your stance doesnโ€™t feel comfortable- alter it etc at the end of the day your only going to have one body so you need to be in sync with it ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
Anyway todayโ€™s glute session i did 6 exercises 4 sets of 8-12 reps (depending on how heavy I went) this included:
- hip thrusts -single leg cable kickback (alternating legs) - cable sidekicks (alternating legs) - cable squat - hip abduction machine - hip adduction machine
I also did 4 sets of 8 on the assisted pull up machine as Iโ€™m trying to strengthen my upper back. **************************************
DISCLAIMER - Iโ€™m shaking in the video purely because I went heavy
TIPS - stand about two feet away from the machine, keep knees slightly bent and abs tight and kick back as high as it will comfortably go with the wait your on โ˜บ๏ธ -
