Originally from Canton, Ohio, Jyll Hubbard-Salk moved to New York City thirty years ago where she took her first-ever yoga class.
Unafraid to speak her mind, Jyll lives her life by the values of no judgment, self-acceptance, inclusiveness, openness, physical and psychological well-being.
Jyll opened @UrbanAsanas five years ago, a yoga studio for the community in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. She teaches both active and restorative style classes, providing her students with a balanced practice.
We just published NR Sverdlin’s interview with Jyll where she talks about the importance of yoga to face life and its difficulties.
